Bowel conditions require special care – laparoscopic techniques enable gentle procedures with rapid recovery.

All bowel operations are performed minimally invasively to shorten recovery time and minimize complications.

The Procedure

Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery

Minimally invasive procedures on the small and large intestine. The laparoscopic technique enables resection of diseased bowel segments through small incisions, resulting in less pain, shorter recovery time, and better cosmetic outcomes.

Common indications include diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis), bowel polyps, tumors, and adhesions from previous surgeries.

How long does a bowel procedure take?

Depending on the scope of the procedure, a laparoscopic bowel operation takes 1 to 3 hours. The hospital stay is usually 3 to 7 days.
